Episode 2 of Gundam The Origin II is almost here. I'm quite giddy... The Origin is a Prequel to the original 1979 Mobile Suit Gundam with all the classic characters and cast being brought back but younger.   (EDIT) removed the opening video because the episode is out and the "host" removed the video like they always do after it finally comes out.   But I will replace it with an Episode 1 Review.

if you do not know what Mobile Suit Gundam is, well you need to be thrown into the fire, it's like Japan's Star Wars and it is like a SIN to not have seen it.   If you've known about it but never seen it, well you're worse and I shall burn you alive in a pit of fire.

To be honest, dunbarton's bgm kinda sucks, so its always turned off for me. but whenever i go run karu dungeon, rundal, or g19 stuff, i leave it on. It's really worth it.
Saga's bgm wasn't that bad as well, and they hyped it up for season 2. Sure, they reused some music, but...
Taillteann's bgm is also the best one out of the uladh towns.
and if you didn't yet, you should leave your bgm on in shyllien and hillwen (at the lower levels).

Not to downplay the effort and love that composers put into their songs, of course. There have also been a bunch of original pieces before. I agree with what you say though, and while you might not always get properly credited, you can be sure that people still appreciate your work.

I really don't get what the fuss is about. If I hear someone playing a tune I made (and not claiming it as their own creation, not everyone knows or can cite the original creator off the top of their head) I would simply end up with a huge grin on my face knowing that the work and effort I put into composing is not only being recognised but being used by others. Its like a rapper getting all uppity because a radio station is playing their music instead of them... I just don't get it.
On the flipside, I would be completely annoyed and irritated if someone did the same thing but then claimed it was their own creation. That gets on my wick in a huge way.

Reason #1 for not playing Competitive Online Games that are linked to a social network like Steam.   I think the only competitive games I will play are ones that players are very sporting in and can accept being defeated.   Personally MMORPGs and FPS are the worst competitive environments and if it's a game linked to a cloud network like steam avoid them.  I do not really need to explain why I think that because in my opinion it is quite obvious why.  
Mabinogi is nice because it isn't a competitive game really, sure there is PVP but it isn't the core of the game.   But when it comes to competitive gaming, players are far better off playing say a simulation or strategy game.

To answer that Solodrake.  If it is from an anime, TV show, Movie, Video game, or even say a Documentary series and it was composed for it (and yes some documentaries have original sound tracks).  Then it is a sound track.  Sound tracks are also often called Background Music or BGM.   Sound tracks is just a broader term being it can also equal things other than music itself, but it's often the official term mostly used for background music anymore.   So if it fits in with that description, which I likely should of explained on the first post, but really, I assume most people know what an OST, or Original Sound Track is really.  
4 out of 5:  I enjoyed it greatly.  I have to say, when the pace picked up I could imagine say a pilot flying past enemy lines, through a wall of AAA and Flak to reach his/her destination.  It caused me to imagine something epic, that is worthy of the 4 out of 5.
