🎶Argysionnach reacted to 👑Bran in do people not know that jam band parties are guaranteed play without hamelins and dont require tuners?
Still good for solo piano & harp scores though.

An easy way to remember in the future is that the division of the note has to be smaller than the note it fits in Made a quick cheatsheet for future reference, if you guys want it (though it only applies to triplets, not quintuplets or septuplets [I've run into those before, that's when you have to deal with 28th and 56th notes. Bluhhhh])

🎶Argysionnach reacted to 🎶Atropos in tuplets (again)
My bad, I should totally have done it on the 3MLE itself, I would had realized the numbers were off.
....>//> At least the idea was the good one!
P.D. Sorry for messing up so badly.

🎶Argysionnach got a reaction from 🎶Atropos in tuplets (again)
The note measures per 4 beats would be 8 8 8 12 24 8 8 12 24 12 24 | 8 8 8 8 8 8 12 24 12 24 | 8 8 8 8 8 8 12 24 12 24
A triplet fitting in a half note would be 6th notes, a triplet fitting in a quarter note would be divided up into 12ths, a triplet in an eighth note would be 24th notes, and so on. In this instance, it's triplets fitting into an eighth note, but with a double-length note taking the place of two of the sub-beats. Lachesis was close, but was up a triplet size.
Sorry I didn't see this last May lol.

Here's the sample mml for what you posted, as an example

🎶Argysionnach reacted to 👑Bran in PSA To Visitors Looking For MMLs
If you're planning on posting MML arrangements from here onto the bard board, please give credit to the maker of the arrangement.
Most composers here don't care regardless, but there are some like me that take pride in their work, especially if we're throwing in a couple of hours minimum into making the MML.
(Me, personally, I have to transcribe mine from scratch or transfer scores to MuseScore and arrange them from there. If you've ever done those before, you'll know that both processes take a lot of time.)
All of the submissions may be free for the picking, but that does not mean that you're allowed to take all of the credit of the MMLs you choose.
The same thing also applies if you're submitting MMLs from Naver's MabiCafe site and/or other Mabinogi sites onto Mabi Beats. Just giving a heads up, and thank you for taking the time to read this.

If you mess up, continue playing. Don't revert back to that specific measure or replay note(s) to correct yourself.
Most of the time, no one will have even noticed that you messed up unless you try to fix the mistakes... or if the tempo of the piece is just plain slow.
Have confidence in yourself that you'll perform well, but don't be overconfident.
Try to relax your mind and calm yourself before you start playing. Breath from your nose.
Don't focus on winning the competition, but focus on playing to the best of your ability.
SIT UP STRAIGHT AND PULL THE BENCH OUT JUST ENOUGH.
...There's more that I'd add, but those are the only "tips" on the top of my head at the moment.

What A_Dirty_Couch said
Also, I can tell you, I already tried making this monstrosity of a jam. It really doesn't work out, unfortunately, with Mabi's composition limit, unless you are willing to cut out parts, which really detracts from the song overall. Still, more power to ya! Best of luck with this one!
(Looking at the file name, we actually both started from the same midi, even [I wasn't gonna do this one by ear, like other stuff. Hell no]. However, I have the 3.5k tracks optimized down to 2k-2.5k. Can't remember how I managed that, though. Still comes out to, like.. a 9-10 person jam, which you can't do in mabi, when I split those tracks apart.)

This anime is called Plastic Nee-San. It's a short series comedy anime, where each episode is approximately 2 minutes long.
But it's hilarious! Every moment is golden!

I used to be hella good with clarinet, but I haven't played since May 2009 ^^' I should really start playing that again, and working on guitar/piano too.

🎶Argysionnach got a reaction from solodrake in Hacked
Well, given how many people on mabi use skype to talk while playing, or even to chat outside game, it's more likely that they just wanted to talk via skype. Just 'cause there's allegedly a hack-kit doesn't mean your friend wants to trick you

SMTxFire Emblem
And that's about it. E3 was very underwhelming this year.

🎶Argysionnach got a reaction from 🌟Yasuno in What's your Top Three E3 games?
Can't really rank 'em, but No Man's Sky looks neat (or as some people are saying, "Starbound 3D"), and FF7 HD is hype. Besides that, I'm actually thinkin' I might pick up Triforce Heroes, and maaaaybe the new star fox game.

🎶Argysionnach reacted to 🚩Blargel in Amiibos, your thoughts?
I first heard about Amiibos from this article. It definitely sparked my interest that what should be a simple toy could somehow learn this well.
