still seeing people with jam parties saying that you need a hamelin tuner to join and stuff and people saying they dont have a high enough rank to play your scores, but jam band is now guaranteed success play.

hey all! my friend and i have been having a great time getting back into mabi, specifically because of the new freestyle jam and a big focus on music. it's really fun, and being the weebs that we are there's never a lack of mmls to implement into the game c: i just this week got rank 1 composing and it was torture but im so happy about it! hope to see more music from everyone in the future!

There are a total of: 0 Pending Submissions currently.
So, I think we are ok. If it gets so busy that the queue begins to have longer than a 2 day average wait time I will ask if anyone wants to join SSR.

naw, i do agree on it. why even have a 'retired staff' group as well if there's little staff actually left too...
As i said before, it just means this place needs more delegates.
some tidbits from when the website was still white background kinda shows too (like the copy mml button on submissions), but as far as i'm concerned, it's very minor compared to staff shortage.
we need more crafters in da house, get my drift?  (staff. staves. yeah its just late dont mind me)

Since Couch is working now, and Poke & Sam are greatly inactive for whatever reason(s), well... yeah.
I'm not sure how filled the queue is atm, but it would be best not to burden Couch if there's over 20 or so submissions.
Eventually, people are going to be waiting a couple of weeks, but I'm just saying.
I know the process takes a while too since Yasuno's going to have to set up another application form, then he and/or Couch will have to look through to see who's suitable, or something, and then train the new people, etc..
Don't burn me, please.
P.S: Font color in tags needs to be changed for light theme since it's white, which makes it unreadable.

Ukulele: increased velocity, peak suppressed (like fig. B)
 v5- -> -1
Mandolin: decreased velocity
 v13- -> +2
 v4-v12 -> +1
Lyre: decreased velocity, faster decay
 v12- -> +3 (but lyre's v15 note is apt to make an attack noise)
 v8-11 -> +2
 v3-7 -> +1
Piano: increased velocity, faster decay
 v13- -> -3
 v8-12 -> -2
 v3-7 -> -1
Harp: dropped an octave, faster decay, attack noise fixed
 raise an octave (oN -> oN+1)
 now o5d+ and higher notes sounds keener. you may want to reduce their velocity by 1
Violin: increased velocity, capped duration (3 sec or so)
 v13- -> -3 (comparison of the first 1 sec)
 v8-12 -> -2
 v3-7 -> -1
Cello: increased velocity, capped duration (3 sec or so), pitch bug fixed (o6d+/o6f+)

Tuned and festival instruments are practically the same sound wise, but they're still separate items.
These are just what I've noticed from my old MMLs, but to me the piano, violin, and cello are louder than they were before.  All the old wind instruments aside from tuba (flute, whistle, chalumeau, and roncadora) sound more quiet than before (v15 flute is no longer cancer for example).  Cymbals seem louder than they did before too.
This is just from me observing how some of my songs sound before and after the Music Q patch.  If anyone else can confirm the changes that have been made, that'd be great.
 

I've been meaning to join this site for ages, but just never got around to it. I'm on and off mabi, but the one thing that brings me back is barding. Sadly, most of my bard friends have all quit by this point, so looking forward to getting to talk to you guys on here!

Our version of 3MLE has been updated to Version 4, which along other things brings it in tune/line with the Music Q patch. Massive thanks to @Blargel for updating it this time for us. You can find the new version on the download page here, The filesize is smaller than before (148mb instead of 366mb) but you will need winrar, or something that can extract .rar files to open it. Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays, folks.

If you're planning on posting MML arrangements from here onto the bard board, please give credit to the maker of the arrangement.
Most composers here don't care regardless, but there are some like me that take pride in their work, especially if we're throwing in a couple of hours minimum into making the MML.
(Me, personally, I have to transcribe mine from scratch or transfer scores to MuseScore and arrange them from there. If you've ever done those before, you'll know that both processes take a lot of time.)
All of the submissions may be free for the picking, but that does not mean that you're allowed to take all of the credit of the MMLs you choose.
The same thing also applies if you're submitting MMLs from Naver's MabiCafe site and/or other Mabinogi sites onto Mabi Beats. Just giving a heads up, and thank you for taking the time to read this.

Sorry that you had to go through this man. I've been uploading spare mmls onto the Bard Board, but some of them I don't remember if I made, or I took from someone else. So this is really to both you and any other composers out there, if I upload any of your stuff without crediting you, message me and I'll fix it.

Welp i saw somebody named "Curple" upload my unravel for chime on the bard bulleting but that person didnt seem to bother crediting in the comment even tho the time it takes to do so is less than 10 seconds so i decided to note, enjoy.


So first i noted the person why he/she uploaded my song without permission nor credit:



Welp afterwards i told the person u can credit using the comment section since u have to write something in anyways.



So i asked the person to delete it 



I said he/she can just keep it on but atleast have the manners to add in the comment who made it





Welp since the person obviously lacked a brain i asked again to delete it



I told the person i hoped that in ten years he /she would develope manners 



So since the person obviously tried to  make it sound like im the bad guy here i told the person instead of just stealing it to put the name in the comment since it takes about 10 seconds to write in the comment who made it but way longer to transcribe music for the game. This reply was the best i got by far.



I replied with the fact that most of the music played on alexina originated from here and that we are the ones making the goddam n music for it.



From there on i stopped replying since well, i felt my braincells dissapearing the longer i seemed to bother with that person.
But that didnt stop her/him from writing 2 more notes




So while i was laughing another note dropped in



I simply replied with , maybe for attention? idk i dont have ur problems.




Well i told the person that i dont have to  upload all of my music again on a broken bard bulletin in where the search doesnt even work right.

5 months ago was when i deleted all of my stuff on here and there was nothing before i added some back and the tokyo ghoul for chime was in there so clearly a lie but meh 

So i told the person i already found others that actually do upload songs and claiming its theirs



Finally the person seems to understand after all this time. Case Closed.

I'm from Sweden so our "black friday" knock-off marketing thingy is pretty weak, so nothing special. Actually, I did get a good deal on my favorite kind of energy drink though, so I guess that's something!

I got a small tablet for my early Xmas gift. Not much, but it's something and it works, lol. We almost didn't go, but mom saw it and wanted one. So that was our first Thanksgiving Black Friday experience.

I have a hard time, however, cuz I tend to forget what's going on by the time an anime/manga updates. ; w ; My memory's a little faulty sometimes. I have heard of Berserk, but sadly it looked like it'd be too bloody for me. But CGI isn't too bad depending on how it's done. There's some that have been done well, and some that haven't. Hope you enjoy the rest of your stuff and the manga, though!

Did you know...?

There was a story about a child who reached a mysterious land, guided by a celestial being.

"You're free to start a new life, the way you want it to be..."

Her words sounded sincere and pure, just like her sky-blue eyes. It wasn't his mind, but his heart that got embraced by their warmth.

As years continued passing by, this world became his homeland where he grew from a naive child to a very kind man with a strong passion for music and folk.

But one night, a girl with a pair of pitch-black wings appeared in his dreams. She was laying on the ground, bound tightly by some iron chains.

She asked him for help with tears-filled eyes. Calamity was going to spread out in his world.

As soon as he woke up from nightmare, his mind was already poisoned by this thought.

"Is it true...? This place is..."

For this reason, he chose to believe in the illusion of the dark-winged angel.

Yet he knew the only way to succeed was by the sweat of his brow. So, for the peace of his world, he worked day and night, but he also paid with his only joy without even realizing it.

However…

All this time, even after defeating all foes and gaining glory, he was still feeling empty.

“What have I done wrong? I thought this was the right path…”

Just another sad and confused soul resting in the world, not knowing what to live for… Yes, that was him.

Laying on the green carpet under the hot sun, looking at the azure sky that became the playground of snow-white clouds, he sighed deeply.

That shade of blue was familiar, don’t you think so?

…

And then a soft voice made its presence felt in the atmosphere:

“Even if the outcome wasn’t as you wished, you can still change it. Believe in rebirth.”

As he heard it, he opened his eyes and found himself laying in his old bed. When he looked in the mirror, he felt like he had been pierced by the memories of eleven years ago.

All he was able to see was just a childish silhouette, greeting him with an innocent smile accompanied by two bright, yet teary eyes, just as pure as before.

Was it a dream? Or maybe a magic spell?

He didn’t know either, but he was grateful that fate gave him a second chance…

Opening the drawer, avoiding the spiderwebs, he found his old violin and a piece of paper next to it:

“Live your life the way you want.”

Holding his dear instrument, he opened the wooden door and took a peek around.

“Good to see you, Duncan.”
 

 
Hey, guys!~
So basically... All this time I've been focused on doing quests in game (the storyline was awesome lol), but I forgot the other talents besides warrior and lance combat. First I wanted to be a tailor, then a cook, but my wish wasn't as strong as it was for being a bard. The concept itself was really awesome to me, unique I could say (because of the compose skill). So now I decided to focus a bit more on the music-related skills.
 
I always thought a bard must be able to tell stories, besides to sing and play songs. Everytime I try to imagine a bard, he's around more people, at night, in front of a campfire. Just like when I started playing lol. But anyway, I've written this because I love stories. Even since childhood, I've been writing and drawing fantasylike things. I can't say that it was perfect, but this way I'm progressing more and more, heh!
 
However, I never tried composing in game. It seemed too difficult for me, so I avoided doing it by myself. But now I was thinking to give it a chance when I have free time.
 
Here, I'm mostly interested in OSTs of video games (Ys Origin, Hexyz Force, Tales of, Final Fantasy, Xenoblade Chronicles, Ragnarok Online etc.), however I also love usual songs and even noticed a few wonderful anime soundtracks, but I'm not a fan of OP/EDs. Anyway, I'm glad I can find these here and even leave reviews to tell people how good they sound even in game.
 
In any case, sorry for the whole length of the text  (Probably this place wasn't the right one to write stories lol)

I would recommend trying to do this event on your own first so that you can enjoy it more.

I peruse through other profiles often to see their profile songs actually lmao. I remember most people in the community who visit often so I know you are not a spammer or anything. And sometimes to look at their cover photo, etc.

Same here. I also went through all your 1 p submissions and couldn't find it, so it seems like it isn't in the database.
Edit: You're correct about "Re:Zero" though. For some reason neither "Re:Zero", "re" or "zero" brings anything up, while the rest of the title like "hold my hand" for example brings up songs from Re:Zero. We'll look into it!
