Does anyone know how to use a tie/slur in 3MLE or MML?

Don't think you can really do anything about slurs, but as for ties you use '&' So using measure 5 as a reference, it'd be e-2&e-8. And idk if this is the correct section to ask. I probably would've asked this in the composers lounge. -

It was the usual for me. I went to work. I went home and studied. Rolled up in a ball and wonder why I'm such a klutz cause I knocked my raspberry pi off my desk while I was coding. Then proceeded to make my house dark before the kids in the neighborhood came so I didn't have to have more social interactions than necessary. I usually just take candy from my younger brothers after they come back from trick-or-treating.

You can make triplets in 3mle. When you want to have 3 notes for the same value as 2 quarter notes/crotchets, the duration of each note in the triplet would be '6' in 3mle. Or if we're looking at the example you used C4 C4 C12 D12 E12 C4. In general for tuplets, you just need to multiply the number of notes you want with the value of duration. Of course, it's not always gonna be perfect, but that's when you play around with the duration of some of the notes until it ends where you want it to end. I do this so I can make use of my measure bars and keep track of where I am. -
If it they're small questions, I don't mind answering. I've played piano for 17 years and a few other instruments. The only thing I refuse to help with is doing something by ear cause it's too time consuming. In fact. I'd rather stare at all the segfaults I get from my shoddy programming skills.

I'm from Tarlach as well, but I don't get on too often over the school year. (Also started a character in Alexina, but I haven't had a lot of time to play.) I also play the violin irl, but I haven't taken it seriously after I graduated from high school since I prefer playing the piano. I might have a spare violin on Tarlach or maybe if you're lucky, one of my buddies hoarded some and haven't sold 'em yet. But yeah, welcome, and enjoy your time here. c:
