Occasionally when I'm messing around with the instruments to see what sounds good, the instrument playback will be stuck on an instrument. For example, I'd change the instrument setting from lute to piano, but the playback uses lute. Naturally, I don't want to go throug the pain of copying and pasting all the tracks into a new file, so I tried to save and reopen the file, but it was no use. Does anyone know if there's a way to fix this, or should I start embracing ctrl+a, ctrl+c, and ctrl+v? Edit: Derp. I think I figured it out. Removing "//#using_extension" and "//#using_channel" fixed it. To think this has been bothering me for so long... and to figure it out several min after posting on the forums.

let's see... back in 2007 or something, my brother was in cbt and had me watch. Note: he's five years younger than me. I couldn't really understand it, plus i got motion sick. (I get motion sick from games quite easily.) A year later, my friend was like, "PLAY THIS WITH ME NOW." and eventually came to like it...? I never really got into making music because it was 300 times more work than actually playing the music irl. However, I broke a finger several summers ago which made playing the piano a painful task. I needed to do something, so I started playing around with mabi music making until I got used to it. -

Anything that happens at work can usually end as a rant... Especially if I bottle it all up for a month or so. Especially when it comes to tip. -
Embrace the music. Listen to it until you know each note by heart. Well, part of it is that I used to practice an instrument for hours a day... so I kinda built up patience, but the key is to really like the music, try to find something new in it... like something you never really noticed before, and not to do it all at once. Come back to it after you listen to some other pieces... or after you get it stuck in your head or something. I usually smash my piano for an hour and decide, "THIS IS WHAT I WANT TO WRITE." and write half of it... then maybe a month later, "Oh. I can't get it out of my head. Let me just finish the other half."

Oh. Hm... I didn't think it was that long... I overestimated the limits of mabi. Welp. I guess I'll just compose the whole thing and then shrink it down to a playable size. Ahahaha. I was being a lazy derp and found the midi file by looking at the page source... Would you like the midi file? Or shall I work on optimizing it?

I've only read the manga. No time for the anime. I'm guessing it's just as good as the manga? I might watch the anime if it goes ahead of the manga... (does it?)

I think the only one I'm looking forward to is "Is it wrong to try to pick up girls in a dungeon?" and the second season "My teen romcom snafu"... and possibly "digimon tri". But knowing me... I probably won't watch anything. I think the last anime I watched was mekakucity actors and that was very painful in many ways. //probably shouldn't have watched while taking 20 credit hours and working
