Welcome to the community of mabi beats, we will gladly take you under our wing. I would also like to reiterate that your friend did indeed sell you to nexon.
One of the best games out there imo. (on ps3/ps4/pc-steam) Aerials are hard as, but thats probably because im using a mouse and keyboard and have no intention of using a controller (yet). Can be really fun and frustrating sometimes. Also is there anyone out there who plays this? curious
i don't know if its the case for all the music stuff there, but the ones i checked had music sheets that are far more complicated than some of the pitful attempts to transcribe the music sheet attatched. Some of them only have tab worth of stuff for a piano piece (i.e. right hand only no bass/left hand). Sure you could use those as an example but I'd say they won't help that much
i learnt it those terms that way in high school, (also since i also learned the tempo stuff doesnt mean im italian). For the C64 note for consistently ill put it in i guess. I did write somewhere that note value 4 is the default duration somewhere, but i just included it there to remind them.
Is there anything else i should add (other than more examples)? and also those that are actually trying to write mml from music sheet using this method, let me know if it works or doesnt, or something is unclear.
I probably should enable BGM music is mabi, cuz i have all mabi sounds turned off except for instrument. When i first started playing mabi my friend gave me the mabi file and it contained his personal settings. i.e. BGM was off. So only found out like last year or so that BGM exists. But the reason i still have it disabled is every time i walk into dunbarton i cry at how bad the BGM for it is. As for composing that that would be pretty hard to compose by ear, will take a while to do.
Wow. The drum beat is spot on, and so are the other stuff. Personal preference would be switching out the flute with a violin. But violin would probably sound dodgy in mabi anyway. very nice
The most obvious thing about this is the tempo. Way to fast, it would sound better on a tempo on say 80. Well thought out and rearranged for the bass part in the 'echo flute' part of the first half of the song.
Whatever is written after 0:37 in unrecognisable
You forgot the most crucial beginning melody of the song by the choir. Also tuba octave range is not in reach as it can be heard as well, playing a weird note. Good effort in the drum part.
Well composed for a duet piece, this song has a lot of things going on in it, but i disagree with two octaves of the melody being played, sacrificing the bass for some parts of the song. Overall, a good job
From ear, i can hear that there are a note or two that's in the wrong octave and a few notes missing here and there. Furthermore it isn't the original soundtrack, so it probably should be titled 'remix'. Good attempt though.
