3MLE Maple Beats Edition Updated (Drums added!)

The drums are already in game, at the NPC shop in Tria.
  3. Hi All, Since the update came out that added Cymbals, Snare Drum, and a Bass Drum I have updated 3MLE to add these instruments plus the Celesta and Recorder. The drums in-game only play 1 note sound, no matter which note you play. To try to mimic this function I have locked the drums in 3MLE to their corresponding notes in-game. Normally with drums you can have a little bit of variance in the sounds, or since this is digital use pitch bending to achieve the same function. Nexon has opted out of this method so the drums have been locked to their 1 sound. Unlike in-game where you can play any note to hear the sound, you must keep your notes on the right note in 3MLE to hear the drum sound. The drums have been locked to the following notes: Snare Drum: D2 Bass Drum: C2 Cymbals: C3 When viewing the drum in the instrument list, it is also included in it's name what the notes need to be. These sounds are originally in the drum kit. I extracted them from the drumkit dls and spliced them manually back as individual instruments so they can be selected correctly in 3MLE. We can see here how it sounds, as long as they are on the right note as in the video: 2018-12-06 15-40-09.mp4 You can download the new version of 3MLE Maple Beats Edition on its usual download page here. Support to More Than 15 Tracks?

Sorry, but no one has the actual source code to 3MLE since 2008 and the original author of 3MLE (ALOE) has also not been heard from since 2008. I have tried over the various years to get the source code but have never been able to find ALOE. His other team members from back then on twitter also do not have the source code. We are currently saving the money we get from Ads, Donation Fundraising, and Pro Member upgrades to put toward a new composer that is better compatible with both Mabinogi and MapleStory 2.
  7. When viewing a song record, click on the green button to download that songs MS2MML file. Save it to a place you can find it! Once the file is saved, you can open it directly in the game when composing with a blank sheet of music! Here are some steps below: Now to get the song in-game! Begin by opening a blank music scroll. Double click on it to open it! Next on the composer screen click on the "Open File" button, and navigate to where you saved the songs file that you downloaded from Maple Beats! Open the file and it should load the music code into the composer screen automatically like so: Make sure you put in the title for the song, and the Best Played On instrument choice, and then hit compose! You can also hit the play button on the right before composing to make sure it sounds ok and imported correctly. If you import a song from a Maple Beats file and find that it does not sound right, please let us know by reporting the song submission!

[mml_thing] An mml automation and conversion tool

Seems to be working fine so far, I have used it on a few songs. I think I saw this in the to-do list already but an easy way of being able to output every mml file in a folder, to ms2mml would be useful in our case. (For Ensembles).

It's funny, this was on my to do list to do a similar tool but just make it a app on the website basically. But you beat me to the punch, I will try it out. Thanks for sharing it @OffendedV

How can I get a preview of my song ?

The instrument doesn't have to be selected inside of the MML file, we just use whatever you pick as the recommended instrument on the form.

How can I get a preview of my song ?

I don't really understand the question sorry, what are you asking? If you are asking about songs that are still pending and not approved yet you can edit the recommended instrument on it yes.

How do I use the MS2MML File on the song page?

They do work properly, there is probably just an error with that one specifically. Use the "Report Submission" on the song post that has the ms2mml file error so it will alert us in the staff queue so we can fix it. You don't, You use the MS2MML file in the game. If you are talking about the MML save files, that is done through 3MLE.

How can I get a preview of my song ?

3MLE uses the exact same instruments in game uses, so I am not sure what you mean by accurate when it is already the same sounds.

Can't get Profile Video to work

Hi, you only put in the video ID that is at the end of the url. So if the video URL is this: "https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sJUGAIf1Px0" Then you would only put the part that is after the v=
