I'm thinking to make it 7PM for my timezone which is one hour after Europe Mainland. So it'd be 8 Pm for most of Europe, and it'll be 2PM for Eastern Timezone America. So 1PM Central 12 PM Mountain and 11 AM Pacific Timezone.

Recently I've moved from the States to the UK and I've found it difficult to attend the weekly concerts on Saturdays hosted by Poke. So I've been considering hosting one of my own, similar to his, for those of us in European timezones who can't drag ourselves out of bed at 3 AM to attend his. What do you guys think of this idea? I'll be firming out the details to give it a try for this next Saturday coming up.

The max volume that is capable for game is 15 so that's what I generally use for the melody line. Depending on which instrument it is. Some instruments like the flute are louder so I tone it down on that.

What they said....for me it's a matter of listening to the song repeatedly and plonking on my keyboard a bit while typing it into 3mle. I can't read sheet music (Yes i have tried to learn it by myself...it just is like some alien language to me) so I have to do all my compositions as Kurama said 'the hard way'. But yes, pick songs that you don't mind hearing over and over. Because to sound check you'll be listening to it a lot, even to just get a final edit done to ensure that it's going at the correct tempo with the correct basic sounds and rests. But also to add to advice, sometimes putting your own spin on the song can be quite fun. I quite enjoy making a piece flow the way I want it to rather than sticking strictly to how the piece's composer wrote it down. PS. Patience? It's not patience! It's addictiooooon~

Sometimes to fit a code all into one file to get as much as the song in as possible you can't seperate the melody, bass, and harmony lines from each other. If you do then you can't play as much of the song. But if you use 3mle, you can watch on a music page type scale and see where each track is doing melody or harmony etc.

Is known to avoid all pokemon masters (except Karinzuki of Ruairi). I'm also known to make MMLs from time to time. I do post other people's work on occasion (though never without their express permission). This is only when they've quit playing Mabi for the most part because it's a pity when a skilled bard's work disappears merely because they moved on to other things. My tastes in music are eclectic but I usually enjoy anime and video game music. I have well over 2000 MMLs in my collection, most of them garnered from MML sites similar to this one when they were working. I don't tend to listen to pop music often and can most often be found listening to film soundtracks and broadway tunes (and singing along in some cases.) Anyway I figured it was well over time to at least introduced myself here as several of my posts have already been verified. I can already see some of my friends here, and a few people I've noticed from other sites. Ciao for now, Kyandoru of Ruairi.
