  1. Hi All, Since the update came out that added Cymbals, Snare Drum, and a Bass Drum I have updated 3MLE to add these instruments plus the Celesta and Recorder. The drums in-game only play 1 note sound, no matter which note you play. To try to mimic this function I have locked the drums in 3MLE to their corresponding notes in-game. Normally with drums you can have a little bit of variance in the sounds, or since this is digital use pitch bending to achieve the same function. Nexon has opted out of this method so the drums have been locked to their 1 sound. Unlike in-game where you can play any note to hear the sound, you must keep your notes on the right note in 3MLE to hear the drum sound. The drums have been locked to the following notes: Snare Drum: D2 Bass Drum: C2 Cymbals: C3 When viewing the drum in the instrument list, it is also included in it's name what the notes need to be. These sounds are originally in the drum kit. I extracted them from the drumkit dls and spliced them manually back as individual instruments so they can be selected correctly in 3MLE. We can see here how it sounds, as long as they are on the right note as in the video: 2018-12-06 15-40-09.mp4 You can download the new version of 3MLE Maple Beats Edition on its usual download page here.
  2. Sorry, but no one has the actual source code to 3MLE since 2008 and the original author of 3MLE (ALOE) has also not been heard from since 2008. I have tried over the various years to get the source code but have never been able to find ALOE. His other team members from back then on twitter also do not have the source code. We are currently saving the money we get from Ads, Donation Fundraising, and Pro Member upgrades to put toward a new composer that is better compatible with both Mabinogi and MapleStory 2.
  3. Seems to be working well! Thank you for taking the time to add it. Saves me a lot of time.
  4. Seems to be working fine so far, I have used it on a few songs. I think I saw this in the to-do list already but an easy way of being able to output every mml file in a folder, to ms2mml would be useful in our case. (For Ensembles).
  5. It's funny, this was on my to do list to do a similar tool but just make it a app on the website basically. But you beat me to the punch, I will try it out. Thanks for sharing it @OffendedV
  6. Just uncheck "Velocity" from the import options, when importing a midi into 3MLE.
  7. The instrument doesn't have to be selected inside of the MML file, we just use whatever you pick as the recommended instrument on the form.
  8. I don't really understand the question sorry, what are you asking? If you are asking about songs that are still pending and not approved yet you can edit the recommended instrument on it yes.
  9. 3MLE uses the exact same instruments in game uses, so I am not sure what you mean by accurate when it is already the same sounds.
  10. Thanks for joining! :]
  11. Not sure what you mean by this, P only controls the animation speed of the character but does not control the song in any way. I decided to try it out exactly as you explained it just in case I was wrong, but the speed of the song was not affected only the animation speed.
  12. Hi, I have updated it for you. Please use that now to login, or your email.
  13. Hi, Sorry but we do not have the source code to 3MLE. We kind of "brute forced" some of the current changes in and updated the instrment list for Maple but we are limited in what we can do with it other wise. We hope to have a new composer program in the future. The original author of 3MLE has been missing since 2008 and does not respond to any contact requests.

  16. @Yaenn - Searching for the tempo tags and making sure they line up and are the exact same in every single track is the only way for it to not de-sync in-game. 3MLE was made based on Mabinogi originally, which works differently (the tempo only needs to be in 1 track) so that is why 3MLE is not letting you hear the error. If the song you are trying to play in-game is from our site use the "Report Submission" button to let us know that it does not sync correctly in the game so we can get the author to either update it, or we will remove it. If this is a song you are importing yourself in 3MLE, then you will need to fix all of the tempo tags.
  17. This happened to someone else in our Discord. They were running the .exe inside the .zip file. You need to extract the .zip file first, and then run the .exe.
  18. Hi, It should work now. We offloaded a bunch of our files, attachments and such to an external CDN (Delivery Network) provider. But there seems to be a bug in the website software itself that causes it to break with certain types of attachments (while others work just fine). In the mean time I have moved forum attachments back from the external provider to the server until the bug can be resolved.
  19. Good luck, I have tried to find ALOE (The original author of the program) and / or the source code for over 4 years now. I even took to Twitter, and emails I found in various places of old team members that helped ALOE on the project and even going as far as sending them messages in Japanese (they are all Japanese). I even used web archive project to look back at pages from years ago to try to scrounge for contact information to no avail haha. However even the team members that did reply have no clue what happened to ALOE, and have no way to reach out to him. None of them had the source code either.
  20. @Fearless - We have a Discord, there are many people in there who could assist you with this. They have been helping users daily in there.
  21. @Fearless If you want to load them straight into MS2 you can do that (after optimizing them) instead of putting them into a second 3MLE window. The point is though that when you import a track, it over writes the existing tracks in 3MLE. So you either need to have a second 3MLE open to combine everything in, or you can paste it into MS2 Composer Window assuming it doesn't need tempo editing or anything else.
