  2. Animenz released a 400k sub special video. The song he transcribed was COLORS (Ik its a little over rated.) But his version was just soo rich of imagination! Dynamics, Style, Fingers, Agility, and most of all, the Arpeggios! From beginning to the end of the song, there's soo much feel into it! I was astonished by this transcription, its jaw dropping. #Animenzislife

  12. Hello! I've had questions at some point during the day about composing and/or transcribing. I'm here to explain (or try) the basics and theories about it and where I got all my styles. If you are very determined to make music and willing to be good at it, you have to know the basics. <== Recommended http://www.musictheory.net/lessons If you have good ears this would be easy! =o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o Okay! The basic musical knowledge you need to know are: -Duration of notes (from sixteenth notes to whole notes) -Any musical scale (C Major, E Minor, etc. As long as you know C D E F G A B C) (Classical songs will not work with this method) =o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o Here's the materials you would need: - A Metronome -Your music -Any instrument that can play 2 or more octaves. -And finally, your best musical imagination! First of all you have to find a song that you want to play, listen, or transcribe. When listening to music you have to get first pitch right of any music. (doing this will give you an idea on how high or low the next pitch is from the previous one.) For this tutorial, I will use one of my works of transcription 1. "Hope" From: Grand Chase Listen to this piece about 3 times or more. While listening, make sure to find the time signature first and the BPM (Beats per minute) In this case, the BPM is around 122, and the time signature is 4/4 in each measure, the background changes through out the song. There are multiple parts in a musical piece. All you have to do is to break the parts one by one. Thanks to 3ML, It already does it for you in "Tracks" 2. Listen to Hope GC BG. In modern music, there is a change in the background part in each measure most of the changes are in a pattern. I will post the example (Hope GC BG) below. (In 00:04 is where it starts) The pattern starts from 00:04 to 00:11 If you notice, the pattern repeats until between 00:27 and 00:29. The pattern changes, and the new pattern has been involved which is in 00:30 to 00:43 (If you listen to the first note of each measure) The pattern in 00:44 to 01:00 is the same as the previous one but with the progressions (called Arpeggios.) Then it goes back to the pattern from the beginning. (Again it's the same pattern but with progressions.) and the music ends. 3. Now for the melody. Below, I posted the Melody Midi file of Hope. If you listen to the whole music. The time that was given at part 2 of this tutorial also has a pattern. If you can hum with the melody by using the pattern in part 2. if you combine the two together you get the whole music. I know very few musical knowledge. I've been only composing by ear by using the patterns of pop music. (I found this pattern because of "Canon in D") My styles are just progressions. Nothing special about it playing by ear and knowing some music knowledge is enough for a person to compose and transcribe their own music. Everybody can. Classicals has key changes, tempo changes and accidentals. All of those changes are the reasons why classicals are classicals and why this trick will not work Every musician has their own style. Don't be afraid to make your own. This is pretty much my first guide or tutorial If I got something wrong, msg me pls. if you don't understand anything and you have a question for a different kind of music, add me in skype :Kazachi Hope GC.mid Hope GC BG.mid Hope Melody.mid
