  1. CHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEN No, but seriously. This (as well as the Fantastic Legend of Tohno) is by far my favorite music pieces of the entire touhou series, and how well this piece is done reflects that. Plus it helps Chen is by far my favorite character in the entire series too. <3
  2. Oh my god, Dark Cloud... I missed the games so much. I wish I could play those games again. ;-; Oh, ahem, the review. It's pleasing to the ear, is very efficient, and otherwise a good score all-around. And it gave me a nostalgia trip. sdkgnnjslkgnshlkHNG
  3. The song sounds nice and all, but the effort just isn't there. 1893 notes for a Harmony 2 track is not good, putting it kindly. I'd suggest making the song not loop (played entirely only once before ending), cleaning up some uneven notes in Melody and Harmony 1, removing unnecessary notes that don't add anything significant to the song, and maybe omitting one unnecessary track. And then have Harmony 2 continue where Harmony 1 left off when the composing limit is reached. And even then, I'm not entirely sure if it can still reach Rank 1 composing limits, but at least it'll be better than what's shown here. Just my personal suggestions.
  4. Welcome to our humble abode. If you have anything to ask in regards to 3mle, or composing songs in general, let me know. ^.^
  5. Well, not exactly a stat, but it might as well be.
  6. Welcome to our humble abode! If you need any help regarding submission and in general 3mle, I'll try to provide as much insight as I can.
  7. Super Mario Bros 3 - Airship Theme (Remix by ToxicxEternity) You could say this inspired me.

  10. Also a few helpful "note-to-self"s for ya. -Some midis do have echo effects, which could count as an extra unnecessary track. You could remove the echo parts and it'll be a much more compact midi file to work with. -As well, tracks that are exactly the same as another could be removed too. You just have to look closely through your list of tracks and if you find any duplicates, simply omit those out of your final product. -Get rid of tracks that otherwise don't really add much into the song, or mix them in with another track (see below for that). You will have to play the song multiple times and determine your judgement on whether or not the track is worth omitting or not. -Even after you get rid of those effects, some midis still have like 4-5 tracks left, which means you'll have to learn to add and subtract from here. Search the song file for long pauses in each track, and then fill in the gaps from something from another track that doesn't have a pause at the time. This will help shorten the amount of tracks a midi can have. Mixing and matching helps when trying to make a solo score. -If you do all of that, and your song is way too long to be considered a Rank 1 solo score, cut it off at the end, and add a fade-out to the end by gradually decreasing the track volume until the end. Failing all of that, if you've done all of the above, and your song is still above 3 tracks (as in, plays more than 3 notes at a time at once), then your song just isn't meant to be played solo, and you'll have to work it as a jam.
  11. TERA is something I've been wanting to try. Same thing with BnS. The problem however, is opportunity. I don't have a whole lot of those.
  12. Jeez, my stats took a significant spike upward since the last time I updated. The amount of progress, man... The progress. Also, no gear, bare hands. Also, before you tell me to get ALO Asuna, I'd rather not. I'm waiting for it to get re-released under a different title name. >.>
  13. I already knew. In fact, I know someone who has already. (Teana) I can just get technical here story-wise. They don't need the tuners. They're part of the ancient Pathelonian race. As such, there really is no excuse for them to fail at all, lol.
  14. Alright. I've gotten my Laighlinne partner to Lv83, which means r3 playing instrument and musical knowledge. And from what I've gathered from the level scaling. Lv70 to Lv80 is pretty much 2 to 2.5 levelups from Alby Adv HM with the Combat EXP x2 potion (not taking into account the boss room because I crash there). Lv80 to Lv90 is pretty much 1.5 to 2 levelups in the same dungeon with the same setting. And if I were to guess, Lv90 to Lv100 is probably 1 to 1.5. This is approximate 17 more levelups for me to hit Lv100, so on average, it should take ~14 more runs of Alby Adv HM, all using Combat Potion EXP x2 potion.
