Kherune Posted November 7, 2018 Report Posted November 7, 2018 I'm sort of stuck, i'm currently working on a 8 piece Bohemian Rhapsody and I have a fairly solid understanding of 3MLE, but i was wondering if there was a more efficient way to add tempos to all my tracks so they dont desync in game rather than just moving them to the corresponding measure. The issue I run into is because of the complexity of Bohemian Rhapsody the tempos don't always line up and some notes move faster than they are suppose to. The other lazy side of me is that I'm working with about 30 individual tracks for this particular score so you could see where going through those and adding not only my needed volume changes but my needed tempos would be tedious. Basically is there a way for 3MLE to move all tempo changes from my master track that has them to all other tracks and automatically place them in the correct spot or am I just kinda SOL with that and gotta do it the tedious way
Kairos Posted November 8, 2018 Report Posted November 8, 2018 Maybe check out this post? They are basically creating a new midi for each track with the tempo and importing into 3mle. Might be easier to create the 30 midis and import them than to manually input the tempo changes. Kherune 1
Kherune Posted November 8, 2018 Author Report Posted November 8, 2018 Thank you that was exactly what i'm looking for, I will give this a shot.
yipu Posted December 2, 2018 Report Posted December 2, 2018 If the above method doesn't work, you can always adjust your notes to allow for tempo changes mid-duration like so: Old: Quote d16d2.r1 New: Quote d16d8&d8&d8&d8&d8&d8r1 And then you can put the tempo between any of the &d8 s.
OffendedV Posted December 9, 2018 Report Posted December 9, 2018 Shameless plug I just added an option to do that in my tool mml_thing. The option (propagate2) is currently experimental, let me know if you find songs that break it.
