say I load in a midi file for duck tales or gundam seed, when I put the instruments I want, it just auto plays the voices or finches over what I have selected or plays nothing at all

its like using the voices, for some songs then the pets for another then I switch it from lute to guitar or mando the lute stays even after restarting and starting the program, I cant even hear the regular notes over these other instruments and voices being used, am also using midi files

when ever I go to play a song I get every instrument playing the same note at the same time, how do I stop it?, I got it from here
