Points
How points work
Points are an in-site currency you spend in the points shop. Earn them by participating, joining certain groups, or receiving them as a gift from another member. Everything below auto-updates whenever an admin tunes the economy.
Ways to earn
Rates and daily caps are admin-tuned. Caps reset on a rolling 24-hour window — the moment your oldest counted action passes 24 hours old, you regain that slot.

Group monthly stipends
Members of certain groups receive an automatic monthly stipend. The first credit lands the moment you join the group; after that it pays out on a rolling 30-day cadence per member, so everyone's clock is anchored to their own join date.

Full website administrators that help manage and run the website plus add features or fix bugs.

Gifts
Other members can send you points or buy unlocks for you directly. There are three gift surfaces:
- Points gift — header gift icon next to the points balance. Sender picks any member + amount + optional note.
- Shop-product gift — every shop tile has a small Gift button. Sender picks a recipient who receives the unlock.
- Song customisation gift — gift icon on a song's detail page. Picks a feature for THAT song; the song's author becomes the recipient.
Gifts respect each member's notification preferences in account settings.

Good to know
- You can't earn points from your own actions on your own content (no self-react / self-comment loops).
- Per-actor daily caps stop a single user from inflating someone else's balance by interacting with all their content at once.
- Spends are debited atomically — if a purchase fails, the points refund automatically and no unlock lands.
- Banned members keep their balance frozen and can't earn or spend until the ban is lifted.
- Admins can adjust balances directly when an issue needs correcting; those adjustments show up in your points history with a note.
