In 2009, an unknown little indie studio called Popcap games released Plants vs Zombies for the PC for just 10 dollars. Just a little while after, it exploded in popularity, with versions being made for the xbox, ps3, and iPad just a year later. 10 years later, it's still a wonderful indie game that I still enjoy going back to. If you haven't played this game yet, I highly recommend it!
