Can't download

Hi so i haven't been able to download anymore songs for months because after all the songs i downloaded, the last time i was asked to select a " DEFAULT APP " to download with and i accidently clicked 7-zip when i tried picking the don't ask option and now whenever i try to download it says i can't open the files in archive. 

before i'd just hit download and it would do a normal download at the bottom left of the browser like if you save an image off google images, but won't do that anymore.

please help

Hi,

7zip opening those files as default most likely has something to do with the defaults set in Windows settings. If on Windows 10 you can search "Choose a default app for each file type". As a work around you can also try to right click on the green download button and choose "Save As" then it might let you save it to a folder like normal?

It's hard to say since your set-up sounds like it has gone off the rails a little bit. But it seems like your machine has basically set the .ms2mml extension to open in 7-zip.
